Calc Vault ("the App") is a privacy-focused vault application disguised as a calculator. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how it is used.

2. Data Storage

All data stored in the App, including photos, videos, documents, and notes, is:

• Encrypted using AES-GCM encryption on your device
• Stored 100% locally on your device
• Never uploaded to any server
• Never accessible by the developer or any third party

Your PIN is processed through PBKDF2 key derivation and is never stored in plain text.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Advertising Data

The free version of the App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• Device advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID)
• IP address (for approximate location-based ad targeting)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

Pro users who purchase the premium upgrade will not see any advertisements, and no advertising data will be collected.

3.2 Purchase Information

In-app purchases are processed entirely through Apple App Store / Google Play Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Purchase validation is handled by RevenueCat.

3.3 Device Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions:

• Photo Library: To import photos and videos into the vault
• Camera: For the intruder selfie feature (captures photo on failed PIN attempts)
• Location: Optional, for recording intruder location on failed PIN attempts

All captured intruder photos and location data are stored locally on your device only.

4. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email, or personal identity
• Your PIN or password
• Contents of your vault (photos, videos, documents, notes)
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
• Contacts, call logs, or messages

5. Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob: Advertising (free version only). Google Privacy Policy

6. Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not contain any content inappropriate for children.

7. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all App data by:

• Deleting individual items within the App
• Using the "Clear Cache" option in Settings
• Uninstalling the App (removes all local data permanently)

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
