Hidden Catch stores your game progress locally on your device. We do not collect, upload, or have access to your progress, scores, or any personal data. The App requires no account or login.
1. Overview
Hidden Catch ("the App") is a hidden-object puzzle game in which you find hidden items within illustrated scenes. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the App.
2. Data Storage
All data created within the App — stage progress, best times, and scores — is:
Stored 100% locally on your device
Never uploaded to any server operated by the developer
Removed permanently when you uninstall the App
3. Information Collected by Third-Party Services
3.1 Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App shows ads (such as banner, interstitial, app-open, and rewarded ads) through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID / IDFA), approximate location inferred from IP address, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads.
In the EEA/UK, a consent form (Google UMP) is shown before any personalized ad is requested.
On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt asks your permission before the advertising identifier is used. If you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalized.
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand aggregate usage (e.g., which stages are played) and to fix crashes. This data is pseudonymous and never includes data tied to your identity, your name, email, or precise location.
4. Permissions
Tracking (iOS, optional): used only for personalized advertising, asked via the ATT prompt.
The App does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location.
5. Children
The App is designed for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Data Deletion
Since all records are stored locally, deleting the App removes all of your data. To reset advertising personalization, use your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking / Apple Advertising, Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated revision date.
